ROSIBEL RAMIREZ

ARTIST STATEMENT

Art is a powerful way to translate my feelings and ideas into reality. It is my tangible expression.

I have used diverse materials throughout my practice, seeking the best way to reveal my inspiration. I find my artwork introspective in a way that always shows traces of my heritage, my multicultural background, where I have lived, and what I have seen or experienced. Art is my open channel for communicating in the universal language of art.

I work with glass, utilizing a vibrant palette of colors and the power of heat to capture vivid moments that endure over time. Each unique piece I create embodies the interaction between color, line, form, and light.

I like to think of my artwork as having a journey, inviting people to engage with it and discover their unique artistic experiences.
